Robert Bluffield has been established as a professional photographer since 1976. He immediately qualified as a Licentiate of the British Institute of Professional Photography (BIPP) became a Licentiate of the Master Photographers' Association (MPA) before being awarded Craftsman status of the Guild of Wedding & Portrait Photographers during the 1990s. At that time he became one an elite band of just 66 professionals throughout the UK to have been granted this highly coveted title. He is also a Craftsman of the Society of Wedding & Portrait Photographers(SWPP).
During his lengthy career Robert has conducted seminars, written three books and numerous magazine features for UK and overseas publications. He has travelled widely and for 9 years was contracted to produce student portraits at some of the leading International schools in Hong Kong. He has also been commissioned to work on commercial assignments in Hong Kong, mainland China and Australia. As a highly innovative wedding photographer he is one of the very few British professionals to have covered a wedding in St Peters Cathedral, Vatican City.
